Zachary completed his training in the combined MD/PhD program at the University of Florida where he completed his PhD in Neuroscience focusing on neurodegenerative disorders. From his work he was granted an NIH NRSA F30 fellowship from the National Institute on Aging along with other research awards. Zachary subsequently began his training in the neurosurgery residency at the University of Florida where he currently practices. He is passionate about researching new therapies for patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries and is involved in multiple basic science and clinical research endeavors to help improve treatments.
