JD-004, ALEVE®, and TYENOL® temporarily reduce fever and relieve minor aches and pains. JD-004 which contains the natural ingredient called SESA (salicylic ester of salicylic acid) may be a safer and more appropriate option than TYLENOL which contains acetaminophen or ALEVE which contains naproxen sodium, which is an NSAID (non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). All NSAIDs including ALEVE carry a block boxed FDA warning regarding gastrointestinal blood loss. Acetaminophen at doses greater than 2000 mg/day has been associated with gastrointestinal bleeding. JD-004 has no increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or anemia.
